Sometimes in life the waiting makes the experience Sometimes in life immersion beats convenience I don't really care what's hot on Netflix I'm still making my way through 90 years of classics 6 for 10 bucks y'know that's pretty sweet Plus I really only come down every couple weeks I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the video store I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the video store As the ever-flowing stream of time Keeps on going and going yeah flowing by So much of what I cherish now will be gone in a couple days My heart calls to me in the hope that I can make some of it remain The world I knew as a child I don't see anymore I don't wanna wake up someday and find that streaming killed the video store Oh no no oh no no no no no no I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the video store I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the video store I've got A Fistful of Dollars and Terminator 2 Got Snakes on a Plane gonna bring 'em home to you I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the I still go to the video store

All around me things are falling And my thoughts drift west To the mountainland of my ancient fathers To the land of the setting sun I don't recall what I was 'Fore this faint light cast its spell on me A breeze floats in from the distance And meets my closed eyes upon the shore I mourn for the wasted brilliance Of but one microcosm I mourn for the shedded layer That burned along with it Wiser and sadder for the loss More sincere and somber for the burning Transformed as ever by the flames Let me emerge again renewed

Ever made love to a moustached man? Have you ever made love to a moustached man? Ever made love to a moustached man? Would you like the feeling if it tickled your neck? Have you ever made love to a moustached man? Ever made love to a moustached man? Have you ever made love to a moustached man? Ever made love to a moustached man? about

The basic tracks for ‘The Lo-Fi Sessions: Volume III – Papa Sos & the Moustaches’ were recorded live on the Gold Coast on the 19th of December 2017 with Papa Sos on lead vocals and guitar, and Papa Joe on bass and backing vocals. Five or six takes were made of each song, and the best were chosen. The tracks presented are complete un-spliced takes. Overdubs (piano and second guitars) and additional backing vocals were recorded the following day (20/12/17).

Foreman Read’s drums were recorded in Westown School Hall, Taranaki on the 21st of April 2018.

Vocal reverb was recorded in Papa Sos’ garage.

The bonus track, ‘My Friend (Bonus Instrumental)’, is taken from an impromptu phone recording made in 2014. It was originally written jointly in 2010 by Papa Sos, Papa Joe, and Zeph.
